In order to qualify for a telehealth visit, you must have had an in-person visit with Dr. Brown within the last 6 months.
We prioritize in-person visits as in person visits are more comprehensive, providing an opportunity for a more thorough evaluation and patient/doctor interaction.
For liability and safety reasons medications can only be refilled if you have been seen in-person and had lab work within the last year.
Many medications also require a visit and/or lab work every 3-6 months to be safely refilled.
A rheumatologist is a specialized medical doctor who has expertise in diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders affecting joints, muscles, bones, and connective tissues.
If you suffer from persistent joint pain in your back, neck, hands, knees, feet or ankles, and muscles, or have swollen and stiff joints, your Primary Care Doctor may refer you to a rheumatologist. Dr. Brown is caring and thorough in his diagnostic evaluation and knowledgeable about the various treatment options, including medications, joint injections and IV infusion therapy.
We offer comprehensive and caring rheumatology care all in one place, guiding you on the path to renewed health.
